New ID position at Coloplast

A New Chapter in My Design Journey

In May 2024, I completed my Master’s in Advanced Product Design at UID, where I explored the potential of sweat analysis in personalized healthcare. My thesis focused on helping caregivers and nurses better manage hydration in senior individuals, offering a tool that could enhance patient care in healthcare settings. This project deepened my passion for designing meaningful, user-centered solutions that empower both patients and caregivers.

After graduation, I made the decision to rejoin Coloplast - a company I had the pleasure of working with as a Junior Industrial Designer in 2023. After half a year with their design team, I grew to appreciate their commitment to personalized healthcare and empathy-driven innovation - values that deeply resonate with me. So when I was asked to come back, it felt like the right step forward. This time, I’m dropping the junior title and stepping into a new role with greater responsibilities. To take on this new challenge, I’ll be relocating to Copenhagen, Denmark, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.

In this new role, my goal is to expand my expertise in analyzing complex user journeys and crafting solutions that cater to a wide range of life scenarios. Healthcare is never one-size-fits-all, and I’m eager to take on the challenge of creating products that truly support people in their most vulnerable moments. I’m especially proud to be part of a company that positively impacts over 200 million people worldwide who rely on Coloplast products every day - and to contribute to making a real difference in their lives.
