What if mobility blurred the boundary between structure and movement, transforming public transport into a seamless extention of our built environment?

About the Project

In 2019, as part of a collaboration between the Integrated Product Design program at Hochschule Coburg and Brose, we developed Campus Shuttle - a speculative mobility concept for 2035 focused on short-distance travel.

Designed for areas like university grounds, corporate sites, and trade fairs, the shuttle explores autonomous, electric mobility in public settings with minimal visual impact.

A 160-degree sliding door enables simultaneous entry and exit, improving passenger flow. A retractable ramp and low base frame ensure easy, barrier-free access. The 360-degree glass exterior allows the vehicle to blend into its environment and takes an architectural approach to public transport - treating the vehicle as an extension of the built space rather than a moving object.
